The Coravin® Timeless™ Three+ wine by-the-glass system is your introduction to the freedom of pouring wine without pulling the cork.
Featuring a durable, molded all-black design, it includes everything you need to begin your wine journey: two Coravin Pure® Argon Capsules, two Coravin Screw Caps, and a Coravin Aerator.
Using a precision-engineered needle and 100% Pure Argon gas, the Timeless Three+ replaces the wine you pour with an inert, food-safe gas that shields the remaining wine from oxygen. The rest of the bottle stays completely unaffected, continuing to age naturally for even years later.
Designed for use with natural cork, it is also compatible with screwcap bottles when used with the Coravin Screw Cap accessory.
The Coravin Aerator offers the equivalent of up to 90 minutes decanting, enhancing the wine's aromas and flavors instantly.
Align the Coravin® Timeless™ over the neck of the bottle and press down firmly in one smooth motion. Use only with natural corks – check by removing the foil and pressing firmly with your thumb. If the cork moves, do not use the Coravin Timeless+ this way – instead uncork and use the screw cap accessory.
2. Tip & Pour
Tilt the bottle until the Spout is over the glass. Quickly press and release the Trigger to pour – do not hold the Trigger down. Short presses help preserve gas. Press again if needed. To stop pouring, simply return the bottle to an upright position.
3. Remove & Store
Hold the bottle with one hand and pull the system up with the other in a steady motion. Store the bottle on its side in a cool, dark space suitable for wine.
Pure® Argon Gas Capsule
Argon gas already present in the winemaking process powers our Timeless wine by-the-glass systems. Timeless replaces the poured wine with argon gas, to create a protective barrier that halts oxidation.
Timeless Needle
The precision engineered needle smoothly pierces the natural cork, ensuring no oxygen enters the bottle. The cork reseals itself naturally, keeping your wine fresh, as if Coravin was never there.
CORAVIN TECH
Timeless+ Refined Design
Unlike other wine preservers, which only delay the oxidation of your wine, the Coravin Timeless+ Wine By-the-Glass System is designed to pour wine without removing the cork, so wine always tastes like it has just been opened—even years later.
Capsule Life
Each Capsule will allow you to pour up to 15 five-ounce (150ml) glasses of wine with Timeless Systems or 20 five-ounce glasses with Pivot™ Systems.
Average Pour Rate
On average, a 5-ounce (150ml) pour of wine with a Standard Needle will take 25 to 29 seconds.
Off-Center Needle
The Needle in the Coravin System is intentionally off-center, so the Needle will insert into the cork in a different place every time.
FAQ
What types of wine cork closures does the Coravin Timeless System work with?
Bottles closed with natural cork will reseal after pouring with the Coravin Timeless wine preservation system. Please keep in mind that a colder cork will take longer to reseal (about 1 minute). Leave chilled bottles standing upright after pouring to allow more time to reseal. Coravin Timeless systems will also work with agglomerated cork, multi-piece cork, and twin top cork. Be careful when using bottles with wax seals. A thin wax coating will not affect usage – it is malleable enough that it will not damage the needle or hinder your ability to access wine. A thick waxy disc underneath the foil, most common in vintage Ports, can cause serious damage to the needle. Coravin Timeless systems DO NOT work with glass closures. This type of closure will cause permanent damage to the Coravin needle. Customers should utilize Coravin Pivot to preserve bottles with glass closures.
How do I change a Needle?

Why is there a Bottle Sleeve included with my system?
Bottles that are cracked or chipped can break. We provide a Coravin Wine Bottle Sleeve for safety if you are more comfortable using one.
Does Argon affect the taste of the wine?
Argon is an inert, non-reactive gas, which means it does not engage with the wine or its components. Because of this property, argon is used in Coravin's wine by-the-glass systems to protect still wines from oxidation without altering their taste or aroma. This ensures that each pour maintains the integrity and quality of the wine.
